A Little About Shay

Shay Warren was a great father, partner, brother, uncle, son, friend, colleague... you name it... he was special.

Shay was also an aviation enthusiast and ultimately spent his life (work and play) around aircraft having served with Ryanair for over 20 years, primarely as Deputy Director of Operations.

Shay passed away on December 28th, 2006 after a short illness, at only 50 years of age. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Like so many others, Shay gave me my start in aviation when he hired me as a Crew Controller in 97. He was a tremendous person and I was stunned and deeply saddened when I heard of his untimely death. My sympathy to all who loved him. Conleth (easyJet).
