Recent Messages of Condolence

Dear Gail, Leonard, and David, I would like to express my sincere condolences on the loss of your Mother. Even though I met your parents only briefly during the CKND Christmas Parties in the mid eighties through the early nineties, I will always remember them as distinguished and confident presences at those parties who both seemed to walk with an iconic status that we all revered. I knew then as I do now, just how lucky I was to have been a part of this television history. "What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us. - Helen Keller" With my deepest sympathy to you and your family, Robin Shreiber

To the Asper Family - I just heard about the passing of your mother - I remember her fondly whenever she came to Toronto to attend parties, etc. Mrs. Asper was a very kind person and I am sure she will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace. Mary Forsey-Hood (ex Global)

Dear Len (and the whole Asper Family), Moira & I just heard the news about your mom’s passing and we cannot tell you how sorry we are. Losing one parent is difficult enough losing both a I unfortunately know all too well is heartbreaking. I only had the pleasure of meeting your mother once in Israel a few years ago but I got a great sense of what incredible person she was and I can see many of her qualities in you. Her energy, warmth and compassion was instantaneously evident and gave insight into how she successfully accomplished so many great things, including her family. Moira & I are so sorry for your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Tony & Moira Cohen
